Job description
We’re seeking for a Store Manager, on behalf of our client based in Nicosia. The main purpose of the role is to plan, direct, and coordinate the storage and distribution of the products for the technicians and clients. The Store Manager reports to the Accounts Manager.
Responsibilities:
Inspects the products received by suppliers
Stores the supplied products in a manner that these are protected from deterioration
Contributes to the products stock control process
Controls the access to the storage area in order to avoid entrance to unauthorized persons
Ensures the systematic cleaning of the storage area in order to avoid product dusting etc
Prepares and forwards sales orders, following the relevant procedure
Deliver products to technician’s where needed
Issue Invoices for new and additional projects
Issue orders/quotations raised from service/maintenance/installation
Posting Invoices from local purchases
Responsible for the daily check of the invoices issued by the technicians and emails them to customers
Responsible for the purchases
Creates project details from new orders and inserts then on JobWatch
Clearance of deliveries
Reviews the company’s purchasing needs, create purchase orders and transfer to the Managing Director for approval
For local purchases visit suppliers’ premises for purchasing of products approved by Purchase Orders
Responsible in receiving installer’s orders
Delivers goods to customers when is requested by customer.
Responsible for the daily debtors collections
Makes recommendations to the Managing Director for the improvement of work methods, productivity and quality
Executes any other responsibilities assigned by Management and/ or which are specified in the company’s documentation.
Job requirements
·At least 1 year experience in similar position
·High School Diploma or equivalent
·Excellent Computer skills – Microsoft Office (Intermediate Level)
·Qualification in distribution, logistics, transportation, retail management or business studies will consider as advantage
·Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access)
·Database structure knowledge for proprietary software
·Internet capabilities
Working Hours:
· 08:00-13:00 – 14:00-17:00 Monday to Friday, may include overtime/weekends as part of the job
·On call as and when required.
