Job description

The Senior Human Resources Officer is responsible for overseeing HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. They serve as a key point of contact for employees and management, ensuring HR policies are effectively implemented and aligned with organizational goals. Serving as a key liaison between employees and management, the role ensures a positive working environment, addresses grievances, and provides strategic HR support to the management through HR metrics and insights.

Key Responsibilities:

•Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy

•Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding

•Provide guidance and support on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.

•Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital

•Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems and procedures

•Nurture a positive working environment

•Prepare HR reports and data analytics to support decision-making.

•Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs

•Develop corporate plans for a variety of HR matters such as compensation, benefits, health, and safety etc.

•Administer employee benefits, payroll support, and HR records management.

•Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards

•Report directly to the Group General Manager and/or CEO and provide decision support through HR metrics

•Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures in compliance with Cypriot labor laws.

Requirements:

•Proven working experience as Senior HR, HR Executive or HR Specialist, for a minimum of 3years

•University degree in HRM or a related field of study

•People oriented and results driven

•Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills

•Proficiency in HR software and MS Office Suite.

•Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

•Fluency in English and Greek

•An innovative mindset and creative abilities in developing new strategies & solutions

•Leadership and organizational skills.

•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

•Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
