Job description
The ideal candidate will have experience in all stages of the sales cycle and will act as an account manager for the clientele in Greece. They should possess strong negotiation skills and the confidence to build new client relationships while maintaining existing ones. Additionally, the candidate will participate in the company's strategic initiatives for cooperation with new suppliers.
Responsibilities:
•Actively seek out and identify new customers, expanding the customer base.
•Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers through regular interactions and exceptional customer service.
•Monitor daily inquiries, quotations, and orders with the operations/administration team.
•Manage a clientele.
•Participate in weekly/monthly group sales meetings.
•Report to management and COO.
•Establish and nurture positive relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable supply chain and negotiate favourable terms.
•Develop an in-depth understanding of the company’s products and services.
•Utilize sales techniques and strategies to close deals and achieve sales targets.
•Collaborate with other team members to share market insights, sales strategies, and best practices.
•Prepare regular sales reports and updates, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
•Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
Job requirements
•At least 3 years of experience in a similar role in the shipping industry.
•Bachelor’s degree/College diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field is preferred.
•Fluent in English and Greek, both written and spoken.
•Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
•Customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
•Willingness to travel as required
