Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Review design documents and Bill of Quantities to ensure a complete and accurate tender package.

• Oversee contracts and stakeholder involvement during the tendering process.

• Coordinate with designers to finalize construction details needed for tendering.

Construction Phase

• Support the Contract Administrator to ensure contract procedures are followed; report any issues.

• Attend site meetings as the Employer’s representative.

• Conduct daily site inspections for quality control.

• Track and report key project milestones.

• Monitor the contractor’s schedule and flag delays or risks.

• Review contractor payment requests and track project cash flow and budget.

• Identify and report Value Engineering opportunities and Variation instructions impacting time and cost

• Ensure the project stays on schedule, within budget, and meets quality standards.

• Organize and track commissioning, handover inspections, and training.

Post-Construction Phase

• Oversee final delivery of the project to the Employer and residents.

Qualifications 

• BSc in Civil Engineering

• 3-5 years of experience in similar role

• Member of Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber

• MS Office, Autocad, MS Project and/or Primavera

• Procore knowledge will be considered as an advantage
