Job description

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Procurement Administrator to support end-to-end procurement processes, prepare documentation, and liaise with suppliers and contractors. The role works closely with project managers, site engineers, and external partners to ensure timely, cost-effective sourcing of materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Procurement Manager in coordinating day-to-day procurement activities.

  • Prepare procurement documents (Word, Excel, PDF) and escalate to the Procurement Manager where required.

  • Communicate with tenderers, ensuring timely follow-ups and clarifications.

  • Maintain accurate records with proper document control, filing, and version tracking.

  • Use Microsoft Excel to produce reports, purchase orders, comparative tables, and related analyses.

  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies and applicable procurement regulations.

Desired Experience & Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Up to 3 years’ experience in administrative and/or procurement support roles.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and handling PDFs.

  • Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and document-control discipline.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for liaising with tenderers and internal stakeholders.

  • Ability to work effectively under supervision and meet deadlines.

  • Knowledge of procurement policies, procedures, and tendering processes is an advantage.

  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
