Job description
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Procurement Administrator to support end-to-end procurement processes, prepare documentation, and liaise with suppliers and contractors. The role works closely with project managers, site engineers, and external partners to ensure timely, cost-effective sourcing of materials.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Procurement Manager in coordinating day-to-day procurement activities.
Prepare procurement documents (Word, Excel, PDF) and escalate to the Procurement Manager where required.
Communicate with tenderers, ensuring timely follow-ups and clarifications.
Maintain accurate records with proper document control, filing, and version tracking.
Use Microsoft Excel to produce reports, purchase orders, comparative tables, and related analyses.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies and applicable procurement regulations.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Business Administration, or related field.
Up to 3 years’ experience in administrative and/or procurement support roles.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and handling PDFs.
Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and document-control discipline.
Clear written and verbal communication skills for liaising with tenderers and internal stakeholders.
Ability to work effectively under supervision and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of procurement policies, procedures, and tendering processes is an advantage.
Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
