Job description

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Logistics Officer to join the team in Nicosia. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing our logistics operations to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan routes and booking air/ocean shipments
  • Preparation air/ocean import/export documentation
  • Negotiate transport and handling costs
  • Arrange payments of freight charges
  • Arrange courier and specialized transport services
  • Prepare vessel's arriving/departure during port operations
  • Monitor and respond to marine operations


    • Job requirements

    • Proven experience as a logistics officer or relevant position
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
    • Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office
    • Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
    • Proficiency in English
    • University degree in shipping or related subject
    • Very good knowledge of specialized systems/platforms (Port Community System, Freight Plus)
