Job description
A rapidly growing real estate company in Limassol is looking for a talented and motivated Lawyer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to handle a variety of legal matters related to real estate transactions, contracts, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents like contracts of sale, share purchase agreements, and lease agreements.
- Assist with legal due diligence when acquiring new properties.
- Prepare client KYC (Know Your Customer) and Source of Funds checks before transactions.
- Coordinate with the Tax Department, Land Registry, and municipality to get necessary clearances for transactions.
- Work with internal teams (sales, marketing, and project management) to provide legal advice and support on business matters.
- Help with various administrative tasks as needed.
Job requirements
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience working in a law firm (experience in Real Estate Law is a significant advantage).
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related discipline.
- Admission to the Cyprus Bar Association or the ability to be admitted within a reasonable time.
- Strong understanding of Cyprus law, particularly in real estate and contract law.
- Excellent skills in research, analysis, and problem-solving.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using legal research tools and software.
- Previous experience or internships in a law firm or legal department would be beneficial.
