Legal Advisor

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents like contracts of sale, share purchase agreements, and lease agreements.
• Assist with legal due diligence when acquiring new properties.
• Prepare client KYC (Know Your Customer) and Source of Funds checks before transactions.
• Coordinate with the Tax Department, Land Registry, and municipality to get necessary clearances for transactions.
• Work with internal teams (sales, marketing, and project management) to provide legal advice and support on business matters.
• Help with various administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience working in a law firm (experience in Real Estate Law is a significant advantage).
• Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related discipline.
• Admission to the Cyprus Bar Association or the ability to be admitted within a reasonable time.
• Strong understanding of Cyprus law, particularly in real estate and contract law.
• Excellent skills in research, analysis, and problem-solving.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using legal research tools and software.
• Previous experience or internships in a law firm or legal department would be beneficial.
