IT Security Specialist

We are seeking a skilled IT Security Specialist to protect our organization’s information systems and networks from cyber threats for a global FX leader with 400+ people worldwide. 

In this role, you’ll manage and implement security measures, respond to security incidents, and ensure our data remains safe. You’ll collaborate with the IT team to develop strategies that strengthen our overall security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor systems for security breaches and investigate violations.
• Implement and manage security controls like firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
• Perform regular security audits and recommend improvements.
• Lead incident response efforts and maintain the company’s response plan.
• Provide training on security best practices to staff.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and technologies.
• Work with other departments to ensure compliance with data protection regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT security.
• Strong knowledge of security tools and processes (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection).
• Understanding of cybersecurity laws and standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security are a must.
