Job description
Human Resources Officer is responsible for overseeing HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
They serve as a key point of contact for employees and management, ensuring HR policies are effectively implemented and aligned with organizational goals.
Serving as a key liaison between employees and management, the role ensures a positive working environment, addresses grievances, and provides strategic HR support to the management through HR metrics and insights.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
· Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding
· Provide guidance and support on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
· Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital
· Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems and procedures
· Nurture a positive working environment
· Prepare HR reports and data analytics to support decision-making.
· Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
· Develop corporate plans for a variety of HR matters such as compensation, benefits, health, and safety etc.
· Administer employee benefits, payroll support, and HR records management.
· Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards
· Report directly to the Group General Manager and/or Management and provide decision support through HR metrics
· Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures in compliance with Cypriot labor laws.
Requirements:
· Proven working experience as Senior HR, HR Executive or HR Specialist, for a minimum of 3 years
· University degree in HRM or a related field of study
· People oriented and results driven
· Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
· Proficiency in HR software and MS Office Suite.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Fluency in English and Greek
· An innovative mindset and creative abilities in developing new strategies & solutions
· Leadership and organizational skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
