Group CEO (Relocation to Cyprus)

About the Role

On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced and visionary Group Chief Executive Officer (Group CEO) to lead a diversified group of companies with international operations. The Group CEO will have overall responsibility for setting strategic direction, driving sustainable growth, and ensuring strong governance across the group.

This is a high-impact leadership role requiring a balance of strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and people leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the group’s long-term strategy in alignment with the Board’s vision

• Provide leadership and oversight across multiple business units and geographies

• Drive growth, profitability, and operational excellence across the group

• Act as the primary link between the Board and executive management teams

• Ensure effective corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance

• Build, lead, and mentor senior leadership teams, fostering accountability and performance

• Represent the group externally with key stakeholders, partners, and advisors

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Proven experience as a CEO, Managing Director, or senior executive in a financial services group or multi-entity environment

• Strong strategic and commercial mindset with a track record of driving growth

• Experience working with Boards and senior stakeholders

• Ability to lead complex organisations through change and expansion

• High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism

• International exposure and cross-border business experience preferred
