Accountant (Hybrid)

We're seeking for an Accountant for the business to business division, on behalf of our clients within the Forex industry based in Nicosia.

- Handling purchase invoice and general ledger entries for B2B group entities.

- Verifying the bi-monthly vendor payment run and recording bank transactions in the general ledger.

- Conducting daily reconciliations of multi-currency bank accounts for group entities.

- Managing schedules, including accruals, prepayments, intercompany reconciliations, and maintaining the Fixed Assets register.

- Assisting the Accounts Payable Manager with the implementation of SAP Concur for seamless integration with the SAP accounting system.

- Preparing Accounts Payable Exception reports post-successful implementation of the SAP Concur project.

- Contributing to the automation of accounting processes.

- Adhering to internal company policies and procedures.

- Performing any other related and administrative tasks assigned by management.

- Possession of an LCCI Higher or an equivalent accounting qualification.

- 3 years of relevant professional experience.

- Proficiency in English with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

- Strong knowledge of the MS Office Suite, with expertise in Excel.

- Familiarity with accounting systems such as SAP.

- Experience in implementing controls and/or system changes.
