Job description

On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead the company. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the facility's operations, including sales, customer service, staff management, and facility maintenance. 


  • Provide strong leadership to the entire team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff across different departments, including sales, customer service, maintenance, and administration.
  • Set clear goals and objectives for each department and monitor progress towards achieving them.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff members to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to drive membership growth and revenue generation.
  • Monitor sales performance and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective members, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns and events to attract new members and increase brand visibility.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of all departments.
  • Manage facility maintenance, including equipment upkeep, cleanliness, and safety standards.
  • Implement and enforce policies and procedures to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for staff and members.
  • Handle any issues or concerns that arise, resolving them promptly and effectively.
  • Develop and manage the facility's budget, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.
  • Monitor expenses and revenue streams, identifying opportunities to increase profitability and reduce costs.
  • Prepare regular financial reports and forecasts for senior management, providing insights into the facility's financial performance.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in a managerial role for 3+ years.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in budget management and financial analysis.
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and strategies.
