Job description

We’re seeking an outstanding Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead and scale the financial function across a diverse and fast-growing portfolio of regulated and non-regulated financial services businesses. Reporting directly to the UBO, this is a strategic executive role requiring a balance of high-level financial vision and hands-on execution. The CFO will oversee all aspects of financial management, compliance, and strategic planning, while ensuring operational discipline and regulatory readiness across multiple jurisdictions. This role also plays a key role in capital strategy, including M&A, investor relations, and financial structuring.

Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Business Partnership

  • Develop and own the Group’s financial strategy, planning, and forecasting across all business units

  • Serve as a key strategic advisor to the UBO and executive leadership, ensuring alignment of financial performance with long-term objectives

  • Assess and support commercial initiatives, product launches, and market entries from a financial and strategic lens

  • Lead financial due diligence and integration of acquisitions or strategic partnerships

Accounting & Financial Control

  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of consolidated financial statements and statutory filings

  • Oversee external audits and uphold rigorous internal control frameworks

  • Ensure application and compliance with IFRS or applicable GAAP across all legal entities

  • Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, reporting tools, and workflows

Treasury & Capital Management

  • Supervise treasury operations, cash flow planning, and capital allocation strategies

  • Maintain strong bank and capital partner relationships

  • Ensure sufficient liquidity and safeguarding in accordance with regulatory requirements

  • Optimize working capital and treasury structure for group-wide efficiency

Regulatory & Risk Oversight

  • Ensure financial compliance with applicable licensing obligations (e.g., EMI, PI, crypto, PSPs)

  • Design financial governance frameworks in line with evolving international regulatory standards

  • Liaise with regulators and external advisors during licensing, audits, or expansion processes

  • Monitor and mitigate financial and operational risks across the Group

Leadership & Operational Execution

  • Build and lead high-performing finance teams with a culture of accountability and excellence

  • Improve financial systems, policies, and reporting to support decision-making and agility

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance business processes and operational efficiency

  • Contribute to Board-level reporting, scenario modeling, and strategic planning

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as CFO or senior financial leader in regulated financial services (EMI, payments, crypto, PSPs)

  • Deep understanding of financial operations in complex, multi-entity and multi-jurisdictional environments

  • Commercially sharp with the ability to quickly connect financial data to business decisions

  • Strong leadership skills and hands-on approach to problem-solving

  • Previous experience working directly with founders/UBOs or in high-growth entrepreneurial settings is a strong plus
